The Powder Coating Process
Pre-treatment is backbone of any powder coating process. There are several pre-treatment processes available for different metals. For metal (CRCA), it is Iron or Zinc Phosphating and for Aluminium, it is Chromatizing.
The substrate needs to undergo proper pre-cleaning and phosphating before being given time to get dry. Post drying, it has to be transferred to the powder paint booth by using proper hooks. The electrostatic spray gun needs to be charged prior to beginning the powder spraying process, after which the substrate is taken to the oven for curing according to the powder resin system chart (please see product page).
After the entire curing cycle, the product is ready to be shown for its main objective which is “Colour with Strength”.

Aluminium Section
